Everything regarding the Europallet

min. reading time

At Foresco, we can tell you everything there is to know about the Europallet. Europallets are the most commonly used pallets in Europe for good reason and must comply with standard quality requirements and regulations. At Foresco, we go a step further: in our pursuit of more circular use of the Europallet, we continuously aim to reduce wood waste. Recycling, inspection, and repair play an important role in this effort.

Information about Europallets

When you choose a Europallet from Foresco, you can be sure that it meets all applicable EPAL standards. A Europallet is specially designed in a standard size to facilitate international transport. The Europallets you purchase from us are always made from safely treated and certified wood. That’s something you can count on! The standard size is 80 x 120 centimetres, and we offer both new and used wooden Europallets. The main advantage of Europallets is that they are easy to use for a wide range of applications. This makes them popular in industries such as logistics and transportation.

Benefits of a Europallet

One of the key advantages of Europallets is the set of uniform standards they adhere to. Every Europallet must have the same dimensions, which facilitates international transport and helps extend its lifespan. Additionally, our Europallets are always treated in accordance with the ISPM 15 standard.

In theory, this means that anywhere in the world, an EPAL Europallet should always be the same in terms of shape, material, and load-bearing capacity. ISPM 15 treatment ensures that the pallet has undergone heat treatment to kill pests and microorganisms, preventing them from nesting in the wood. This also enhances the pallet's overall quality. Moreover, this reliable pallet is easy to move using a forklift or pallet jack.

Returning Europallets

Foresco is not only a full-service pallet provider, but we also offer a platform focused on the efficient reuse and management of pallets. We collect, repair, and ensure high-quality reuse of pallets. Our Collect, Repair & Re-use philosophy actively contributes to a more sustainable and circular approach. Do you have pallets to return? This is possible from both the Netherlands and Belgium.

How many Europallets fit in a trailer?

Assuming a maximum of 19 pallets stacked per column and space for 33 stacks in a standard trailer, a total of 627 Europallets can fit in a trailer. If the maximum stacking height is limited to 17 pallets, then up to 561 Europallets can fit. Foresco is happy to explore the best options with you. Unsure of what’s possible? We’re always here with tailored advice.
