Drying is an important aspect of ensuring the quality of our pallets. We designate a dry pallet as having a moisture content below 22%. If we produce from freshly sawn timber, the pallet has to be dried in special drying chambers. For this, we have more than enough drying rooms at our disposal. Read more about HT treatments.

For a growing number of (large) customers, we also produce cases, crates and bases on site. We produce pallets on site, for example at Heineken in Zoeterwoude. Producing pallets on site is not only very efficient, it is also sustainable. After all, far fewer transport movements are needed, which also reduces CO2 emissions.
The treatment of wooden packaging and dunnage is done by Heat Treatment (HT): 56°C for 30 minutes. Treatment with methyl bromide (MB) has been banned within Europe since 2010. Foresco is certified by the SMHV (Stichting Markering Houten Verpakkingen).

Yes, you definitely can! We are always interested in your used pallets. Indeed, we can either repair them and resell them or recycle the pallets into chipboard and wood chips to be used for energy generation.
