Drying is an important aspect of ensuring the quality of our pallets. We designate a dry pallet as having a moisture content below 22%. If we produce from freshly sawn timber, the pallet has to be dried in special drying chambers. For this, we have more than enough drying rooms at our disposal. Read more about HT treatments.

We make wooden export containers for any type of transport. These can be closed cases or open crates. Depending on what the customer wants. Here, we can make walls out of underlay boards and with wooden planks.
For a growing number of (large) customers, we also produce cases, crates and bases on site. We produce pallets on site, for example at Heineken in Zoeterwoude. Producing pallets on site is not only very efficient, it is also sustainable. After all, far fewer transport movements are needed, which also reduces CO2 emissions.
Designing and manufacturing solid wooden export cases, transport containers and industrial packaging is our core business. We do this for renowned clients in a variety of sectors. In almost all cases, it involves the optimal packaging of valuable capital goods, machine parts and industrial products. Sectors we most often work for are mechanical engineering, energy, aviation, metallurgy, automotive and heavy/special transport.
The treatment of wooden packaging and dunnage is done by Heat Treatment (HT): 56°C for 30 minutes. Treatment with methyl bromide (MB) has been banned within Europe since 2010. Foresco is certified by the SMHV (Stichting Markering Houten Verpakkingen).
The dimensions of export containers vary considerably. Packaging is bespoke. So we have a solution for every product/machine.
