HT TREATMENT
Trouble-free export to countries outside the EU starts with HT treatment (according to ISPM 15) of your wooden pallets, packaging and dunnage. Foresco will take care of it for you.
PROBLEM-FREE EXPORT WORLDWIDE
In our drying rooms, we have the ability to treat and mark your wooden pallets, packaging and dunnage according to ISPM 15 on a large scale. ISPM 15 stands for International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures 15. This HT treatment (HT = Heat Treated) ensures that any harmful organisms present do not survive in the wood. Equally importantly: HT treatment in accordance with ISPM 15 enables hassle-free export of your shipment to countries outside the EU.
HT – THIS IS HOW IT WORKS
The treatment of wooden pallets, packaging and dunnage is done by Heat Treatment (HT): 56°C for 30 minutes. Methyl bromide (MB) has been banned as an alternative treatment since 2010. Foresco is certified in the Netherlands by the SMHV (Stichting Markering Houten Verpakkingen) and in Belgium by the FAVV (Federal Agency for Food Safety).
